This package covers the four days around the wedding, October 6,7,8,9, 2027 in St Emilion. While the wedding welcome dinner is on the 7th, this package starts with a check-in on the 6th so you get settled in St. Emilion the night before and can enjoy the wine tour on the 7th. When you book your accommodation with Best Events you will know exactly how much it will cost to attend the wedding and receive a complimentary, customized guide to the area, travel tips, inspiration & recommendations for Bordeaux as well as support for your travel questions. The wedding is taking place at the Hotel de Pavie in the charming village of St Emilion, an UNESCO world heritage site full of history and great wine. On this page you can book your travel package including a hotel room near the wedding venue, transport from the train station in Bordeaux, a private cultural tour created exclusively for you and add a rental car. We have two boutique hotels options for you that are less than 15 minutes drive from the wedding venue. Both have good reviews and a casual atmosphere. Check-in October 6 after 4pm, check-out October 10 before 10am. Please note that availability is limited; if room preference is important to you we suggest you make your purchase as soon as possible. Prices below are for four nights accommodation single occupancy with breakfast and include transport from the train station, the day tour and guide book. If you want to upgrade to double occupancy which includes an additional breakfast, arrival day transport and day tour, you can add that in the upgrades section below. Clos 1906
The charming Clos 1906 is a chic B&B and antique dealership a stone’s throw away from St Emilion town in a tastefully renovated 18th century manor house and winery built in pale stone adorned with light grey shutters and surrounded by emerald vineyards and open countryside. There are four bedrooms within the main house and a two bedroom apartment in the annex all decorated with unique French antiques for the Clos 1906 antique shop and furnished in soft neutral colors. Each bedroom in the main house has an ensuite bathroom with walk-in showers and a separate toilet. The apartment is perfect for a family with a kitchen, bathroom with walk-in showers and a separate toilet and bedroom with king size bed on the ground floor, plus a bedroom with king size bed on the upper floor which has sloping ceilings. There is a private garden with a long pool and shaded outdoor seating area with comfortable seating. Free on-site parking. This six bedroom property will be privatized for wedding guests who will share common spaces; the lounge, dining room, two outdoor spaces. Breakfast will be served in the dining room each morning, there will be a hot beverage station, glassware, cups but no shared kitchen other than the apartment kitchen. Prices include breakfast, daily housekeeping, candles, toiletries, bathrobe and slippers and there will be an on-site manager to assist you. Check-in from 4pm, booking deadline is July 20, 2026.

Château Haut Brisson
Nestled among the best vineyards in the Bordeaux region, the Château Haut-Brisson is an unassuming winery estate on the outside and a hidden gem of contemporary color and comfort on the inside. Boldy decorated interiors, uncommon hospitality and comfortable beds in a quiet setting among their Grand Cru Vinyards. Five double bedrooms each with ensuite bathroom, 3 on the ground floor, 2 upstairs, no single beds, baby, or child-friendly facilities. This place is ideal for singles or couples who will share the lounge, dining room, two outdoor terraces with a view on Saint Emilion. Breakfast will be served in the dining room each morning, there will be a hot beverage station, fridge, glassware, cups but no kitchen. Laundry service available (washing/drying) for extra charge. Saint-Émilion Day Tour
OCTOBER 7th
Start Time: 10 AM
This 6 hour wine experience will start with a pick up at your hotel for a morning visit to the Cordeliers cloisters and their sparkling wine cellars, then a wine tasting and tour of the Grand Cru Classé vats in a different 600 year old convent in Saint-Émilion (because morning is the best time for tasting), followed by lunch at the oldest bistro in town where generations of vintners have gathered and celebrated. In the afternoon we’ll learn about the winemaking process and walk the fields at Chateau Haute-Brisson Grand Cru winery. Those staying at Clos 1906 will be dropped-off at 4 PM. Tour includes tastings, lunch, transport, and winery tours.

Getting there and getting around
Our three day pre-wedding Paris extension includes train tickets from Paris to Bordeaux. This St Emilion package includes private transfer for you and your luggage from the train station to your hotel. If you’re not doing our Paris extension, meet us at the station for your included transfer to St Emilion.
If you like to explore and wish to have the flexibility of a rental car, we are pleased to offer reliable rental cars at our corporate rate from Sixt, who has the best deals of all the national rental car suppliers in France - pay at pick-up, unlimited mileage, free cancellation and rebooking. If you wish to do the Bordeaux extension you should book car rental for Oct. 6-15. We recommend getting the smallest car for your needs as roads in France are much smalller than you expect. Please include a note at check out with the birthday of the driver. If you are not arriving/departing by the train that we book for you, please include a note at check out with the pick up/drop off time and location (airport/city/train station) you desire. Transport
to and from the wedding venue on the big day
Emily & Armando have generously provided day-of transport for guests staying a Chateau Haute-Brisson and Clos 1906. Transport vehicles will pick up guests before wedding and there will be three staggered departures for return transport after the wedding. Not only do we want to ensure your safety on the roads, but taxis and Ubers are not readily available in this region and we don’t want you to miss any of the fun. If you want to book your own individual transport, we recommend you do this at least one week in advance with our recommended local transport provider, contact and prices will be included in your welcome email from us.
CONDITIONS:
Package is refundable minus a 100€ cancellation fee before May 30, 2026, cancellations between May 30 and August 15 are 50% refundable and cancellations after August 15, 2026 are non-refundable.
