We are Travellur, a boutique travel planning agency based in Paris France, and will be providing travel arrangements for guests attending the wedding so that you have the best time abroad. Learn more about us, our slow travel philosophy and services here. Katie and Josh want you feel welcomed and taken care of so we will be organizing your stay in Bordeaux. We know there are a lot of questions related to attending this destination wedding and we have answers.

Here you can book your rooms for the three days of the wedding, October 7,8,9, 2025 at the Chateau de Garde, rental cars and a private cultural tour that we created exclusively for you. We also have a three day pre-wedding Paris extension (Oct. 3-6) and a four day post-wedding Bordeaux extension (Oct. 10-15) that might interest you. Booking deadline for rooms at the chateau is July 20, 2025..

The celebration takes place over the course of 3 days in the autumn of 2025 at Château De Garde located at 3 Garde, 33420 Moulon, France, Googlemaps link. For guests staying on site, the itinerary of events includes:

October 7

ARRIVAL:
Check-in at 4 PM Your room key and a map of the property will be available to you in the entryway of the Main Chateau
REHEARSAL
For family and friends in the wedding ceremony, we will rehearse in the covered barn ceremony space prior to the Welcome Dinner
DINNER
Our Welcome Dinner will take place around 7 PM in the Chateau grounds

October 8

BREAKFAST
Food will be provided and served in the kitchen area of the Main Chateau for those staying on the grounds

CHECK-OUT
We all have access to the property until 6 PM, for those staying in The Annex, you will need to be out of that space by 2 PM, for those staying in the Guest House, you will need to be out of that space by 4 PM. We will not need to be out of the Main Chateau / off of the property until 6 PM. As such, your belongings can be stored in the Main Chateau if you plan to hang around until then!

Katie and Josh invite you to stay with them at the chateau which lies in the enchanting heart of the Bordeaux wine country, a haven of tranquility and natural beauty. Nestled amidst 6 hectares of picturesque vineyards, this splendid estate offers a romantic backdrop for you to celebrate in a truly majestic setting.

Surrounded by the beauty of Bordeaux’s vineyards Château de Garde dates back to the 18th century and is just a 10 minute drive from the UNESCO heritage town of Saint-Émilion. The, château has been renovated in a luxurious modern style while preserving its historic charm. The entire estate will be privatized during your stay, giving you exclusive access to all indoor and outdoor spaces including 6 hectares of vineyards and a beautiful park.

Rooms are located in three houses, each one is equipped with a fully furnished kitchen and common areas. There is a large lap pool and furnisher outdoor seating areas. All beds are prepared upon arrival, with fresh linens and towels provided.

Details about your stay:

CLEANING
The venue team will take care of putting away the dishes, emptying the trash, removing the glass & taking care of food leftovers.
AMENITIES
Each building has a kitchen, steamer, and iron.Each kitchen has ovens, stoves, fridges, sinks, washing machines, glassware, 1 Nespresso machine, and 2 filter coffee machines. All rooms have heat.
FOOD
We will stock the kitchen spaces with snacks, water, and other general items so that they are made available to our guests for any time during their stay.
PARKING
Parking on site can accommodate up to 50 cars in total. There are 3 parking lots so it would be no issue if you are to have a rented car on site.

You may want to add options like a cultural tour of St Emilion, it’s rich history and world class wines or train tickets from Paris or a rental car in Bordeaux. Saint-Émilion Day Tour

OCTOBER 7th

Start Time: 10:30 AM

This 6 hour wine experience created exclusively for Katie & Josh’s guests will start with a morning visit to the Cordeliers cloisters and their sparkling wine cellars, then a wine tasting and tour of the Grand Cru Classé vats in a different 600 year old convent in Saint-Émilion (because morning is the best time for tasting), followed by lunch at the oldest bistro in town where generations of vintners have gathered and celebrated. In the afternoon we’ll learn about the winemaking process and walk the fields at Chateau Haut-Brisson Grand Cru winery. Meet us at the Cordeliers cloisters at 10:20am, tour ends at 4 PM. Booking deadline July 20, 2025.

We are pleased to offer reliable rental cars at our corporate rate from Sixt, who has the best deals of all the national rental car suppliers in France - pay at pick-up, unlimited mileage, free cancellation and rebooking. If you wish to do the Bordeaux extension you should book car rental for Oct. 6-15. We recommend getting the smallest car for your needs as roads in France are much smalller than you expect. To book a rental car with us, email Travellur at bonjour@travellur.com. and let us know which car you want from the list below and provide name, age and drivers license of the driver. You can add additional drivers at pick up. No problem if you have different dates, just include the pick up/drop off time and location (airport/city/train station) you desire. We will make the reservation for you free of charge and you will pay at pick up. Booking deadline for rental car is August 30, 2025.
