Boka Bay Boutique Hotel

Our favorite boutique hotel in Herceg Novi due to it’s prime location; separated from the water by a pedestrian path that takes you to several beaches in one direction and through the large park wooded with fragrant pine trees singing with cicadas and finally to the modern part of town. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the center of the old town but removed from the bustle so the setting feels quiet and is fanned by gentle sea breezes. Breakfast is included and served buffet style in the communal patio. If you wish you stay longer or less than six nights please email us here and we can that arrange for you.

Boat Day on the Bay

4Pm FRIDAY, June 16, 2027

Celebrate day on the paced waters of the Kotor bay perfect for boating due to it’s lack of waves but abundance of sunshine and crystal clear sea water. Boat will pick us up at the pier near the hotel and we’ll glide away for an after noon of swimming, water sports topped off by a stunning sunset. Fyi sunset is around 9:30pm so it will still be light when we get back to the hotel.

Meeting place and dock location will be sent to you after booking.

Day Tour of Kotor Town

4pm ThursDAY, June 17, 2027

Let’s discover the UNESCO World Heritage Site known as Kotor together on this 6 hour tour of Kotor town including dinner at at an outdoor restaurant. We’ll XXXX and walk up to the top of the hill for stunning views of the entire bay at golden hour.

Dinner Party under the Stars

7pm Friday June 18, 2027

Claire and Albian graciously invite you for a special dinner party to thank you for showing your support and following them halfway around the world to make new memories together. The evening will start with cocktails with sea views then priced with a seated dinner al fresco. dress code TBD….

Boat transfer to Dubrovnik

11am Sunday June 20, 2027

One last hurrah before we go our own way. We have arranged a scenic boat transfer which eliminates the often delayed roadway boarder crossing to Croatia that will deposit you at the Dubrovnik airport or if you are joining us for the Dubrovnik Extension will drop you off at the picturesque old port walking distance to our hotel in Dubrovnik. If you need an earlier or later departure, just email us and we’ll arrange that for you.

Beach Transfer

June 15 & 19, 2027

The several beaches around the hotel in Herceg Novi are beaches on the bay of Kotor. It’s salt water but it’s not the same as the open ocean which is also nice. There are a number of excellent beaches in the area but because of the bay it takes nearly an hour to get there in the summer traffic. Do you love the ocean? Then you definitely want to do this at least one day maybe both. The shuttle will leave after nap time at 2pm, and we’ll arrive for the hottest part of the day 3-6pm, then head back around 6:30pm. Tuesday June 15 is the first full day in Montenegro and we plan to go to TBD beach with it’s XXXXXX. Saturday June 19 is the weekend so we want to go to XXX beach because it has a vibe and sweet sun beds, shuttle that day high come back later if we decide to stay for the party.

Car Rental

Driving in Montenegro is pretty easy. Google maps work great, they drive on the right side of the street and while towns and villages might cause some delay in high season,  country roads and highways are not crowded and well paved. Parking is an issue in those tiny lanes in the old towns, but there are municipal lots provided for tourists. If you are the curious explorer type you may want to rent a car so you can see all the beaches up and down the coast, maybe discover the mysterious hinterland or party in Budva.
