About Castello Vicchiomaggio
We will spend the first night at Castello Vicchiomaggio, a hilltop venue with commanding views of the legendary Chianti wine region. A large property with a thirty-four hectare wine estate producing Chianti Classico, complete with tasting room and wine shop. At its heart is the 14th century castle including a 11th century watch tower so emblematic of the elegant Tuscan skylines. It was here that Leonardo Da Vinci created his masterwork, the Mona Lisa. The accommodations are simple and country-style with clean, modern comforts. All rooms are air conditioned, have en-suite bathrooms with hairdryers and complimentary toiletries.

About Certosa di Pontignano
The rest of the tour we’ll be at the Certosa di Pontignano, a Carthusian monastery dating back to 1343 with evocative courtyards, charming gardens and orchards set like a jewel in the Tuscan countryside just outside of Siena. It’s known for its remarkable 16th century frescos adorning the church and refractory. Authentic old world vibes is what you’ll find here. Accommodations are simple yet comfortable in keeping with the monastic lifestyle. Guests will have plenty of room in large rooms apartments with ensuite bathrooms. Each room has space to think, air conditioning, kettle, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, wifi and tv.

Reserve your place BEFORE NOVEMBER 15 with a 850€ deposit. Balance is due February 28. For bookings made after November 15, there will be a 1000€ deposit per person. Balance due February 15, You can pay securely online with credit card or make a direct deposit in Euros. Room prices include meals, visits, activities as listed on retreat page.

Please be sure you can come before you reserve your place. We cannot refund you unless you have some one to take your space in which case you will a 200€ restocking fee will be deducted from the refund. We strongly recommend travel insurance to cover you in case of unforeseen events, accidents or travel delays.
